General Labourer – Pool & Property Maintenance

Express Employment Professionals – Guelph is hiring on behalf of a local pool maintenance and landscape/property maintenance company for a General Labourer to join their team for the fall season.

Job Details

• Pay: $27/hour
• Location: Puslinch, ON
• Start Date: Last week of August
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start
• Hours: Approximately 9–10 hours per day
• Assignment: Until November 1 (with potential for Snow Removal Transition)

Responsibilities

• Assist with pool maintenance and service
• General landscaping and property maintenance
• Seasonal clean-up and outdoor labour
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials
• Operate company trucks and equipment as required
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

MUST HAVE

• Valid G Class Licence with a clean driving record
• Experience driving a 5500 truck and/or truck + trailer
• Ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract
• Ability to provide a letter of experience confirming 3 years of driving experience
• Reliable personal transportation to the Puslinch yard
• Previous employers must be legitimate, verifiable businesses with an online presence for insurance purposes
• Comfortable performing physical labour and working outdoors

Potential Winter Opportunity

Candidates with salt truck operating experience may have the opportunity to transition into a winter position after the fall assignment.

• Winter work is on-call 24/7
• Opportunity for continued seasonal employment beyond November 1
