Salary: $15.50/hr
The position will require working on a platform with three unloading stations, usually with a second employee. Racks hanging from an overhead conveyor system vertically holding various types 25# I-beams will stop at each of the stations for unloading. The racks have been dipped in a hot wax tank and the I-beams have a coating of black wax. After the wax has cooled, the employee will remove the corresponding I-beams to stack in a bundle at each of the stations. When each station is unloaded and the last station’s rack is empty, the employees tap a foot pedal to move the racks. Full bundles will be taken away by a forklift.
