Join Our Team as a Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team in Elm Grove. This position is ideal for an experienced mechanic who enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial turf equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.

As a Service Technician, you will work on a variety of commercial and consumer equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, hydraulic systems, diesel and gas engines, and emerging technologies such as autonomous mowing equipment. You will play a key role in keeping equipment operating at peak performance and supporting our customers' success.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on commercial and consumer turf equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel engines
• Troubleshoot electronically controlled hydraulic systems
• Sharpen, rebuild, and maintain cutting reels and blades
• Set up and prepare new equipment for delivery
• Complete service repair orders accurately and track labor through the company ERP system
• Order parts and manage repair documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair needs and recommendations
• Distinguish between warranty and customer-pay repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Assist with shop maintenance and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician, mechanic, or related repair professional
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to provide and maintain your own tools
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Preferred

• Specialized training in gas or diesel engine repair
• Turf equipment maintenance experience
• Fluid Power certification
• ASE certifications
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with autonomous or GPS-guided equipment technology
