Pile Driving Crane Operator - South Louisiana - D211
 
This role involve operating a Pile Driving Crane to hoist, position, and drive concrete and steel pilings for bridges, highways, and heavy foundations. 
 
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Operate Equipment: Control cranes and pile driving heads (hammers and fixed/live leads) using levers and pedals from the machine cab.
  • Handle Materials: Hoist steel, concrete, or timber pilings into leads, judge distances, and align hammers accurately over pilings.
  • Safety & Compliance: Read and interpret load charts, follow critical lift plans, and adhere strictly to project safety regulations.
  • Maintenance: Perform daily safety and mechanical inspections of the crane (checking fluids, rigging, and components) and report malfunctions. 
 
General Requirements
 
Experience: Proven history in heavy civil, bridge, or highway construction working with pile installation crews.
