Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a valued client in the Northbrook area to fill a Project Manager position. We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused professional with a background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field to oversee projects from initial client engagement through successful completion.

 

This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring project requirements are clearly defined, accurately costed, effectively communicated, and executed on schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements from clients.
• Develop project scope, pricing, and cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed project descriptions and supporting documentation for the Inside Sales team.
• Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure projects remain on track and milestones are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide project status updates and maintain accurate project records.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Previous experience in project management within engineering, manufacturing, automation, industrial, or technical environments.
• Experience preparing project estimates, pricing, and costing.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
