CNC Machinist / Setup Operator

Location: Muskego, WI
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team in Muskego, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components that meet customer specifications and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Perform machine adjustments and program edits as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
• Complete production documentation and quality records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining and setup experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
