Brake Press Operator

Location: New Berlin, WI
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC and/or manual press brake equipment to fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
• Perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Monitor production runs and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous press brake operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing specifications.
• Experience using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
