Heavy Machine Operator - Rigger

Located in Englewood, FL

Salary: $25-$30 (DOE)

Location - Nokomis

Starting Rate - Level 1 ($25-$30) - Level 2 ($28-$38) (DOE)

Schedule - 7:30am-4pm

 

Below are the general qualifications we are looking for:

Rigger Level I

• Experience preparing, attaching, controlling, and guiding loads lifted by cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of basic hitch configurations and load control.
• Ability to properly select and inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and other rigging equipment.
• Understanding of basic load weights and safe rigging practices.
• Must have current Rigger certification.

Rigger Level II – Preferred

• Experience with more complex rigging and lifting operations.
• Ability to calculate or determine load weights.
• Understanding of center of gravity and load distribution.
• Knowledge of sling angles and their effect on rigging capacity.
• Ability to select the appropriate rigging equipment for the lift.
• Experience planning and safely executing more complex lifts.
• Must have current Rigger Level II certification.
