Temporary Human Resources Assistant

Salary: $28.00

Overview: Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Temporary Human Resources Assistant position supporting a public transportation organization in Bremerton. This role provides administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources team and is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and prior HR experience.

 

JOB DUTIES: May include but not limited to the following:
• Perform, plan, coordinate and/or assist in human resource functions
• Recruitment and hiring activities
• Manage the drug and alcohol program
• Process light duty and workers’ compensation claims
• Coordinate the employee referral program
• Conduct investigations of Title VI complaints and recommend appropriate action
• Maintain employee records and HR databases
• Schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR documentation
• Provide administrative and customer service support to HR operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

2+ years Human Resources and administrative office support experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

Pay: $28.00/hour
