Schedule: Monday, August 17 through Thursday, August 20, 2026, with a possible extension through Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–approximately 4:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable General Labor Associates to assist with a large educational materials delivery and setup project in Virginia Beach.

This is a physically active, team-oriented assignment involving unloading, moving, organizing, and setting up materials throughout the facility. Attendance and punctuality are critical because the project must be completed within a limited timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, boxes, and educational materials from delivery trucks

• Move materials to designated rooms throughout the facility

• Assist with unboxing, organizing, staging, and basic setup

• Collect and organize cardboard, packaging, and other debris

• Use hand trucks, dollies, carts, and pallet jacks as directed

• Safely lift and carry materials throughout the workday

• Follow instructions from on-site supervisors

• Maintain a professional and productive work environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently

• Ability to assist with team lifting for heavier items

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a team

• Professional conduct while working in a facility where children may be present

• Ability to meet applicable background-screening requirements

• Previous general labor, warehouse, moving, unloading, material handling, or setup experience is preferred but not required

Dress Code

• Comfortable clothing appropriate for physical work

• Closed-toe shoes are required

• Shorts are permitted

• No tank tops

• No clothing containing profanity, offensive graphics, or inappropriate imagery
