Material Yard Worker

Located in Oregon City, OR

Salary: 20

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: $20.00/hr 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work outdoors, processing and sorting scrap metals, and working at saw and sheer station.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge with metal, welding, fabrication
• Sit down forklift experience is required

Essential Functions:

• Good work ethic and reliable
• Operate a sit-down standard forklift and small excavators
• Working at a saw and sheer station, using hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure

Equipment Used:

• Band saw
• Hydraulic sheers
• Demolition torch
• Liquid oxygen torch for heavy cutting
• Sit down standard forklift, small excavators.
• Sit down Forklift experience is required

Qualifications:

• Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Metal Fabrication knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting 50 lbs periodically, pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs.
