Pool Service Technician

Location: Goose Creek, SC
Pay: Starting at $25.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Pool Service Technician to join a growing team serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Goose Creek area. This position is responsible for maintaining pools, balancing water chemistry, inspecting equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Previous pool service experience is not required. Candidates with experience in customer-facing service industries such as landscaping, maintenance, construction, delivery services, hospitality, HVAC, plumbing, pest control, or general field service are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance services.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry.
• Add and handle pool chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
• Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
• Identify maintenance concerns and communicate recommendations professionally.
• Clean skimmer baskets, filters, pool surfaces, and surrounding equipment areas.
• Maintain accurate service records and route information.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions.
• Operate a company vehicle safely while traveling to service locations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Acceptable 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
• Previous customer service or service industry experience preferred.
• Pool maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to use a smartphone or mobile device for scheduling and service documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle pool chemicals and maintenance equipment.
