Combo Welder – 2-Week Turnaround

We are hiring experienced Combo Welders for a two-week turnaround project at Formosa Plastics in Point Comfort, TX.

Project Details

• Pay: $38/hour
• Per Diem: $125 per day
• Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
• Welding: Single-hand
• Double Time: Not offered

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe and structural-steel welding.
• Read and follow welding procedures, drawings, and job specifications.
• Complete quality welds while following all site safety requirements.
• Inspect work and correct any welding defects as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous combo welding experience with pipe and structural steel.
• Must pass hair follicle drug test.
• Must pass all required HASC classes.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Dependable and available for the full turnaround.
• Must meet all Formosa Plastics site-access and safety requirements.
