OVERVIEW

 

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. The position focuses primarily on cleaning and sanitation, with basic maintenance duties as needed.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, desks, counters, doors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment.
• Clean and restock restrooms with paper products, soap, and other supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move supplies.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
• Must follow safety and sanitation procedures.
