Resident Relations Specialist

Resident Relations Specialist Job Summary:

A local property management company is looking for a customer-focused and organized individual to join their team as a Resident Specialist. This position will work closely with current residents and the property management team to assist with lease renewals, resident requests, documentation, and other day-to-day resident relations needs.

Resident Relations Specialist Responsibilities:

• Following up with residents and completing lease renewals
• Coordinating and processing resident transfers
• Updating and maintaining renters insurance information
• Following up on resident contacts, questions, and outstanding items
• Assisting with planning and coordinating resident events
• Following up on lease violations and communicating with residents as needed
• Completing landlord and rental verifications
• Maintaining accurate resident records and documentation
• Providing professional and helpful customer service to residents
• Supporting the property management team with additional resident-related needs

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
• $19-$23/HR based on experience

Resident Relations Specialist Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, administrative, leasing, or property management experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable communicating with residents by phone, email, and in person
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple resident requests and follow-up items at once
• Professionalism and empathy when handling resident concerns or difficult conversations
• Strong follow-through and ability to keep accurate documentation
• Comfortable working with computers and learning property management software
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team
• Previous experience in property management or leasing is a plus
