Production Worker

Located in Middleton, WI

Salary: $17/hour

We are seeking a production associate for our client, an electronics company on the West side.

This is an entry level light assembly and inspection role with great opportunity for advancement!

Main Tasks:

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, travelers, and work instructions; determines product and quantities needed.
• Ensures machine settings are appropriate for product; adjusts equipment operating parameters.
• Troubleshoots problems; re-adjusts machine settings; re-works product, or makes recommendations regarding product modifications as appropriate.
• Conducts crystal and filter testing; ensures product components and manufactured product conforms to product specifications;
• Conducts in-process acceptance testing such as water bath testing and quality reviews; accepts and/or rejects product.
• Records product quantity on travelers.
• Performs workstation cleanup tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with one to two years of product manufacturing experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and ability.
• Knowledge of electronic principles such as frequency readings
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work instruction
• Knowledge of proper application of chemicals used in crystal filter manufacturing processes and workplace safety procedures.

Schedule: Full-time, day shift schedule.  Generally work four days, 10-hour days Mon- Thurs, but there is flexibility this the schedule

 

Pay: $17/hour
