Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain an apartment community inside and out.

If you have experience with general maintenance, enjoy fixing problems, and take pride in keeping a property looking its best, this could be a great opportunity!

🛠️ What You’ll Do:
• Complete resident maintenance requests and repairs
• Perform painting, drywall repair, minor electrical work, and general maintenance
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, flooring removal, appliance moving, and touch-up work
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Maintain common areas, grounds, storage areas, and curb appeal
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
• Maintain tools, supplies, keys, and maintenance records
• Work with property management and outside vendors on repairs and projects

✅ What We’re Looking For:
• General maintenance or property maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of painting, drywall, minor electrical, and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable with good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to climb ladders and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally travel to properties within approximately 60 miles
• Willingness to participate in an after-hours emergency maintenance rotation
