2nd Shift Cutter Operator

Monday-Friday | 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM-9:30 PM | Must Be Available for Overtime

A leading printing company is seeking an experienced Cutter Operator to operate and maintain die-cutting equipment and support daily production. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or printing experience, is mechanically inclined, and can follow job specifications while maintaining quality and production standards.

Cutter Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate die-cutting machinery according to job specifications.
• Prepare and stage materials for production.
• Review job tickets and work orders to ensure proper setup and production requirements.
• Pull and organize the appropriate die boards for each job.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain proper production and quality.
• Monitor machine operation and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Process and organize materials after die cutting.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move materials as needed.
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and preparing finished products for shipment.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify the appropriate personnel of major equipment problems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Cutter Operator Requirements:

• Previous experience operating die cutters or similar production machinery preferred.
• Printing, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets, work orders, and written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to make basic machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available for overtime as needed.
