 2nd Shift Gluer Assistant

$18.00 per hour

Monday-Friday | 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM-9:30 PM | Must Be Available for Overtime

A printing company in the city of Vernon is looking for a dedicated Production Assistant to contribute to the efficiency of Gluer Department and support their facility operations. You are applying with Express Employment Professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lift, push pull up to 50lbs, and stand for the duration of the shift (12 hours per day). 
• Must be available for OT and working weekends if needed.
• Will be assisting the Gluer Operator , feeding the machine, packing folding carton, palletizing and shrink-wrapping pallets.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Other miscellaneous duties, including 5S, keeping workstation/area in order, clean and sorted.
• Must work safely by following established procedures and policies.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to perform duties.
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand the full duration of their shift.
• May need to operate a pallet jack when necessary.
