Salary: $20-$21/hr DOE

Our client in Tualatin wants to add a Dispatcher to their team.  This person will coordinate driver routes, communicate with drivers and the customer to ensure on-time deliveries, and answer questions. This position has busy times, there are times where you will be busy for an hour and then have a hour of down time. This is not a fast paced position, we are open to training an individual who has good computers skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, customer service focused! 

This is an Evaluation-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for full-time employment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, directing, and coordinating driver activities
  • Assign daily routes to drivers
  • Monitor and respond to transfer requests via email
  • Support drivers with loading and unloading trucks using a pallet jack when needed
  • Ensure drivers are in proper uniform and equipped with the tools needed to complete their routes
  • Address customer and driver concerns and help resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous dispatching experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Fair and impartial decision-maker who works well with a team
  • Proactive problem solver who takes initiative
  • Valid Driver's License required

Pay

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour DOE

Schedule

Friday - Monday | 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
