Tucker manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Tech for a temp to hire position.

Responsibilities:     

Ensure good personal safety practices are followed, including but not limited to OSHA and  EPA .

Understand how to obtain safety information on chemical SDSs.
  
Inspect equipment daily, perform pre-shift inspections, and maintain/clean the assigned machine, equipment, or area.
 
Be responsible for daily manufacturing activities, including setup, in-process, and post-process handling and monitoring of all intermediates, and products. Including but not limited to following SOPs, routings, and written/verbal instructions.

Demonstrate adherence to ISO standards. Includes recording and verifying accurate information is reported on all documentation. Making suggestions for improvements to SOPs, routing, work practices, processes, and areas.

Report chemical and supply inventory shortages in a timely manner.

Handle, transfer, and confirm all inventory items. Proper handling of all waste materials. Understanding the differences between various types of waste, storage locations,
and personal protection requirements. Instructing other departments about safety and handling when required. Instructing other departments about safety and handling when required.
    
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report malfunctions using the appropriate notification system.
   
Participate in the continuous improvement processes for safety, quality, service, and  productivity.

 

Work Schedule for Shipping: 

Mon-Friday 7:30am -4:30pm

 

Work Schedule for Production:

Mon-Thursday 6:30 am -5:30pm
