Weekend Welder 2^nd and 3^rd shifts

Now Hiring: Production Welders | Multiple Shifts Available | Shift Differential

A growing manufacturing operation is seeking dependable welders to join its production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll weld and fabricate sheet metal components using blueprints and engineering specifications while working in a safety-focused production environment.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Set up and operate welding equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Perform production welding on sheet metal components
• Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead
• Read and work from blueprints, engineering specifications, and production schedules
• Plan welding procedures, tools, and material requirements
• Clean, sand, and prepare metal surfaces for welding
• Use cutting torch equipment to cut materials to required sizes and shapes
• Repair or build up worn and defective metal surfaces
• Inspect completed work using appropriate measuring devices
• Maintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work area
• Remove production scrap and dispose of materials properly
• Assist with other production or manufacturing operations when needed
• Follow established safety, quality, and productivity standards

Welder Qualifications

Candidates should have a combination of the following skills and experience:

• Previous production welding or sheet metal welding experience preferred
• MIG, gas, electric, or related welding experience
• Ability to successfully complete a welding test
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable attendance and a safety-first mindset
• Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, and/or weekends when production demands require it
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
