Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for multiple Trailer & Service Technician positions ranging from entry-level apprentices to experienced A-Level Technicians. We are seeking mechanically inclined, safety-focused individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and are looking to grow their careers in the trailer repair and service industry.
Location: Yukon, OK Area
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Schedule will eventually transition to 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position #1: Apprentice Service Technician
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Overview
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn the trailer repair trade. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training while assisting experienced technicians with inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with trailer inspections and repairs
- Learn preventive maintenance procedures
- Utilize hand and power tools safely
- Assist with brake, lighting, and mechanical repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Complete training assignments and skill development programs
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Prior automotive, trailer, farm equipment, construction, or mechanical experience is a plus
Position #2: C-Level Trailer Technician
Pay: $19.00-$23.00/hour
Overview
The C-Level Technician performs routine trailer maintenance and repair work under supervision while continuing to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services
- Repair and replace brakes and wheel seals
- Diagnose and repair trailer lighting issues
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
- Complete assigned repair orders with supervision
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Properly document repairs and inspections
Qualifications
- Knowledge of trailer brake systems
- Experience with wheel seals and wheel-end service
- Basic trailer electrical knowledge
- Ability to complete preventative maintenance services
- Ability to follow repair procedures and work instructions
- Strong attention to safety and quality
Position #3: B-Level Trailer Technician
Pay: $23.00-$27.00/hour
Overview
The B-Level Technician independently performs a wide range of trailer diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance functions while requiring only occasional guidance on complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform all C-Level Technician duties
- Conduct suspension repairs and component replacement
- Perform hydraulic system repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair ABS and trailer electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical shorts and wiring issues
- Complete structural trailer repairs
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
- Accurately diagnose common trailer repair issues
- Maintain repair quality and productivity standards
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of trailer systems
- Experience with suspension and hydraulic repairs
- Ability to diagnose ABS and electrical problems
- Structural repair experience
- Basic welding skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Position #4: A-Level Trailer Technician
Pay: $28.00-$32.00/hour
Overview
The A-Level Technician serves as a highly skilled expert capable of diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding all trailer systems with little to no supervision. This role also supports technician development, training, and leadership within the shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform all B-Level and C-Level Technician duties
- Diagnose and repair complex and uncommon trailer issues
- Troubleshoot and repair advanced electrical system failures
- Complete major structural and wreck rebuild projects
- Perform advanced welding and fabrication work
- Lead complex repair projects from diagnosis through completion
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Maintain exceptional quality and production standards
- Demonstrate critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills
- Complete all required safety, skills, and certification training
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of trailer systems and repairs
- Advanced electrical diagnostic skills
- Extensive structural repair experience
- Welding certification preferred
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong record of quality workmanship and efficiency
Requirements for All Technician Levels
- Must provide own toolbox and tools.
- Steel-toe boots or steel-toe shoes required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and components as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliable transportation and attendance required.
