Industrial Maintenance Technician – Lafayette, IN

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery, facility equipment, forklifts, trucks, and other equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment and facility maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs to minimize downtime.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and work with 480V three-phase electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment documentation.
• Prioritize multiple maintenance needs and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with production employees and management.
• Follow established safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance and/or production experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and air systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs.
• Knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
