Our manufacturing client is seeking reliable, safety-focused Machine Operators to join their production team on Afternoon and Night shifts.

Pay Rate: $19/hour - $19.50/hour

Available Shifts:

  • Afternoon 3:30pm - 11:30pm
  • Night - 11:30pm - 7:30am

Duties

  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment, fill feeders, and perform quality checks on packaging according to product specifications.
  • This role requires observing all safety regulations, ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met, and maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process.
  • Set up machines according to specifications, including calibration and adjustments. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Walk the line and complete a pre-operation checklist.
  • Monitor packaging equipment to ensure line speed and controls are running according to product specifications
  • Keep the line properly supplied by obtaining appropriate materials (e.g., correct film), positioning them at the station, filling feeders, and maintaining levels.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the assembly of components and products following detailed instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.Monitor production processes, identify issues promptly, and escalate as necessary.
  • Document operational data accurately for quality control and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

  • Experience operating packaging or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and to read, write and communicate fluently in English
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues promptly.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures, including inventory handling and material movement.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance at all times.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, or instructions related to machinery operation.

Experience:

  • Machine operation: 2 years (required)
