Company specializing in the design, engineering and manufacturing of components for commercial aircraft cabin interiors and In-flight Entertainment is looking for a Junior Inspector to join their team in Northridge.

Summary: This is an entry-level inspection position ideal for someone looking to begin or develop their career in aerospace quality and inspection. The Junior Inspector will perform routine sampling inspections of machined parts, assist with shipping and receiving activities, move materials as needed, and, with training and experience, progress into performing First Article Inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily sampling inspections of parts produced by the machine shop.
• Inspect components using basic inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Verify parts meet established specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Assist with identifying and documenting nonconforming material or parts.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Move and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
• Assist with First Article Inspections as training and experience are gained.
• Follow company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work cooperatively with machinists, production personnel, and the Quality team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings and measurements is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, machine shop, aerospace, or quality inspection experience is a plus but not required.
