Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler/Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and organize materials in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.

Essential Duties

• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment.
• Transport materials between storage and production areas.
• Count, label, record, and organize inventory.
• Secure materials for transportation to prevent damage.
• Operate industrial trucks, carts, and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or related experience.
• Previous forklift certification and experience required.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Inventory or ERP system experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery and forklift traffic.

 

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions within the past seven years
