We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machine tools, machining precision parts to close tolerances, reading blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Set up and operate CNC machine tools with limited supervision.
Perform intermediate-level machining of parts and tools while maintaining close tolerances.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, charts, and written specifications.
Verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
Understand the properties of metals and alloys used in machining.
Set up and lay out work according to blueprints and specifications.
Maintain high production efficiency with minimal scrap and rework.
Use machinist hand tools and measuring equipment safely and accurately.
Work safely as part of a high-performing team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous CNC machining experience required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Continuous standing and walking throughout the workday.
Frequent reaching, bending, and use of hands to handle materials and equipment.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $27.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
