PAY: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Bilingual Scale Buyer / Customer Service Representative (English/Spanish) for a busy facility in Salem. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, has excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll assist customers, process transactions, accurately record information, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish
  • Weigh customers in and out using the scale system
  • Accurately enter customer information into the computer system
  • Verify customer and vehicle paperwork for accuracy
  • Record outbound shipment weights and shipping information
  • Answer customer questions and direct them to the appropriate area
  • Communicate paperwork discrepancies to the office
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Follow company procedures while working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and professionalism
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand and walk throughout the day
  • Occasionally sit while completing administrative tasks
  • Lift up to 20 pounds as needed
  • Perform frequent keyboarding and computer work
  • Work around moving equipment and moderate industrial noise
  • Comfortable working in both office and outdoor environments as needed
