Position Summary

The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to achieving positive client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and handle assigned legal matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners and support staff on case strategy and execution.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the NYS Bar.
• 1-5 years of relevant legal experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications
