Truck Driver (CDL-A)

Location: Salem, OR
PAY: $28.00–$29.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local company in Salem. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials, completing scheduled deliveries and pickups, performing vehicle inspections, and working closely with dispatch to ensure timely service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport materials to customer locations
Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Secure and tarp loads as needed
Complete required delivery paperwork
Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules and customer needs
Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
Maintain a clean and professional driving record

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Current DOT Medical Card
Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and safety awareness

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 20 lbs regularly
Push and pull up to 60 lbs as needed
Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach throughout the workday
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment
