Warehouse Worker / Material Handler

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift

We are hiring a dependable Warehouse Worker / Material Handler to join a busy local metal and materials warehouse.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse work, general labor, material handling, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, construction, production, or order pulling. If you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Pull and prepare customer orders
• Organize and stock warehouse inventory
• Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles
• Receive incoming materials and put inventory away
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Use basic math to verify measurements and quantities
• Cut materials to customer specifications using saws and shears
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Assist customers with pickups and loading
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Follow established safety procedures
• Communicate inventory, equipment, supply, and safety needs to management

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and punctual
• Able to read a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable using basic math
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable loading and unloading materials
• Willing to learn to safely use warehouse equipment, saws, and shears
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy
• Positive attitude and professional communication skills
• Comfortable assisting customers when needed
