Job Summary

Bossier Power Equipment is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Advisor / Front Counter Representative to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers bringing in outdoor power equipment for repair or maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, able to multitask, and committed to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide professional, courteous service.
• Check in outdoor power equipment for repair and maintenance.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests.
• Create and process repair orders and work tickets.
• Provide repair estimates and explain recommended services.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Communicate repair status and estimated completion times.
• Coordinate with service technicians regarding diagnostics and repairs.
• Verify or order parts with the parts department.
• Process customer payments and close repair orders.
• Assist with warranty claims and manufacturer paperwork when needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in customers.
• Maintain accurate customer and service records.
• Resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Keep the front counter and service reception area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer and data entry experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, automotive, or equipment service is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge of lawn equipment, chainsaws, generators, ATVs, or small engines is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
