Janitorial Team Member

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking Janitorial Team Members to join a local facility's cleaning and maintenance team. Multiple full-time and part-time openings are available. These positions are responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities while supporting daily operations.

Available Shifts:

• Full-Time: 6:00 AM–2:20 PM
• Full-Time: 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Part-Time: 4:00 AM–Approximately 8:00 AM
• Part-Time: Flexible daytime hours (8–12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the shift
