A Specialty Chemical Company servicing the global coatings industry is in need of a QC Test TechnicianM-F, 6am-2:30pm, $20/hr* Perform Quality Control tests on incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished products* Prepare specimens, chemicals, and media* Calibrate analytical instruments for testing* Ensure all chemicals and equipment are free of contaminants* Create Quality Control material samples according to standard operating procedures (SOP's)* Operate analytical instruments using SOPs to provide diagnostic data* Check test data results and determine if quality standards have been met* Record test results accurately into electronic logs such as an ERP system* Document diagnostic test results and report findings to internal requestors * Assure testing results of products adhere to customer specifications* Release batches for production or finalization if samples meet Quality Control criteria* Recommend production batch adjustments as needed to the submitting operator* Label and file retain samples* Review, scan, and categorize batch tickets into database* EHSQMS Integrated ISO Documentation Control CoordinationExperience:* Training in operation of standard laboratory equipment preferred* Able to use desktop software, EXCEL, WORD, and ERP data entry
