About the Job

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established custom manufacturing company located in Tumwater, WA, to fill an AutoCAD Drafter role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced casework drafter looking to join a skilled team working on detailed commercial interior projects for healthcare facilities, professional offices, specialty retail spaces, and more.

This position is Evaluation-to-Hire, with a consistent full-time day shift schedule Monday through Friday. Compensation starts at $25.00-$29.00/hr depending on experience, with a full benefits package upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and revise detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software
• Draft complete submittal packages for casework, millwork, solid surface, architectural metals, stone, and related interior components
• Review architectural plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare complete drawing packages according to contractor and project requirements
• Utilize Bluebeam for plan review, markups, and document coordination
• Support project managers with drawing revisions, updates, and related documentation
• Maintain organized digital drawing files and project records
• Incorporate field measurements, redlines, and project feedback into drawing revisions

What You Bring:

• Previous casework drafting experience required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
• Experience with Microvellum preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage changing priorities
• Familiarity with LEED, FSC, FGI, or AWI standards is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
