Our partnered client, a well-established manufacturer in the Racine, WI area, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team on a direct hire basis. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the quality philosophy and culture at the plant level, ensuring products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while maintaining profitability.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Racine, WI
• Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience
• Reports To: President - CEO

What You'll Do

• Set and maintain quality standards across all products
• Develop measurement systems and plans to ensure shop-floor standards meet customer requirements
• Oversee and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance and cost-effectiveness
• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities
• Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits
• Maintain a corrective action system to analyze and resolve nonconforming conditions and complaints
• Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality performance
• Plan and manage inspection of incoming materials, work in progress, and final products
• Supervise and develop Quality Technicians, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and ensure department safety goals are met

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Quality Supervisory role preferred
• Experience with quality systems, quality improvement techniques, and corrective/preventive action
• Experience developing PPAPs and First Article Inspections (FAIs) preferred
• Expert knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance)
• Strong statistical and root-cause analysis skills
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and facilitation skills
• ASQ Certification preferred
