Graphic Designer 

 

• Orders labels and product packaging to help avoid production delays due to limited inventory.
• Reviews labels and packaging to detect and mark any grammatical, typographical, or compositional error. Must be able to do in English and Spanish.
• May also check foreign translations (Spanish/ English), dimensions, spacing and position for accuracy.
• Effectively communicates labeling changes with various printing companies.
• Must be able to rearrange priorities on short notice to react to customer needs.
• Knowledge of labeling regulations and standards preferred.
• Fact-check for accuracy of content and product images, logos etc.
• Assist with typesetting or file creation as necessary
• Review of final art and printer's proofs for accuracy.
• Manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Requires minimal supervision

Room for growth to become graphic designer (with comparable compensation).

Qualifications:

Adobe photoshop or illustrator: 1-2 year (required)

Can comfortably handle Microsoft office, intermediate computer skills

Must be able to read and write in English and Spanish fluently

 

Experience: 

Typically 2 years’ experience plus in graphic design, proof reading or similar

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Degree in Graphic Design or similar (preferred)
