The Quality Inspector may be assigned a wide variety of inspection-related or production tasks, as well as administrative duties, oversight, or other responsibilities in support of the work and objectives of the client and its customers. Tasks may vary depending on project needs and could include duties typically assigned to different roles or classifications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at and begin work at the designated time, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
  • Perform all essential job functions as required by the project, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Handle a full range of projects or rotations, as business needs may vary depending on the client’s project-based work.
  • Read and follow all employee policies, work rules, and directions as required.
  • Read and follow work instructions to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the work area at all times.
  • Identify any problems or concerns and report them to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental requirements at the work facility.
  • Adhere to any additional work rules or policies established by the Company, Customer, or job site.
  • Use inspection, measuring, and test equipment as required for job duties.
  • Provide accurate and complete information for all necessary paperwork.
  • Support administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation to meet client and customer expectations.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or reasonably associated with completing the above tasks.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

  • Extensive use of arms, hands, and fingers for manipulating tools, objects, and controls.
  • Must possess the ability of hearing, sight, smell, and touch, coupled with excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs on a repetitive basis for up to 12 hours.
  • Capability to walk, stand, and/or sit for up to 12 hours.
  • Work in a repetitive environment, performing tasks such as gripping, reaching, pulling, pushing, bending, squatting, kneeling, or balancing for up to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work in various climate conditions, such as heat or cold, for up to 12 hours.
