Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator / Facilities Support

 Location: South Clearwater

 Schedule: M-F 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

 Pay Rate:$18.00-22.00 boe

 

Position Summary

 

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, forklift activities, facility upkeep, and customer service functions. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, maintaining a clean and organized facility, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, and providing excellent service to customers and visitors.

 

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Warehouse Operations
• Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse records.
• Organize warehouse materials and ensure proper storage procedures are followed.
• Forklift Operations
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Basic Facility Maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, yard, and common areas.
• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance tasks.

Assist with minor repairs, painting, changing light bulbs, and other facility upkeep duties.

Coordinate maintenance issues with management when outside repairs are needed.

Ensure safe and clean work environments for employees and customers.

Customer Service

Greet customers, vendors, and delivery personnel professionally.

Assist customers with loading and unloading products when needed.

Respond to customer inquiries and direct requests appropriately.

Maintain a positive and professional image of the company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.

Basic mechanical aptitude and facility maintenance experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
