Now Hiring: Sewing Machine Operator


Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team. If you are detail-oriented and experienced in sewing or eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Monday- Thursday, 6am-4:30pm. Pay Rate: $16.00

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate sewing machine with tabbing, folding, or wrapping attachments to assemble visors.
-Adjust machine controls for stitching speed, length, and thread tension.
-Monitor machine operations for defects, such as stitching issues, thread breaks, or malfunctions.
-Position materials under the sewing machine presser foot and needle.
-Insert bobbin and thread machine guides and components.
-Cut thread using blade attachment or scissors and trim excess material from finished products.
-Select materials, such as binding or thread, according to specifications.
-Maintain equipment by replacing needles, cleaning, and oiling machines.
-Examine finished products for quality and conformance to standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or GED.
-Previous sewing experience or willingness to learn.
-Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. as part of the job.
