Experienced Forklift Operators are always in demand. We recruit for sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker, and other material handling positions.
Common Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by employer but may include:
- Operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving materials throughout warehouses and job sites
- Staging materials for production or shipping
- Performing inventory counts
- Inspecting equipment before each shift
- Following OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
We're typically looking for candidates who have:
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Forklift certification preferred (many employers will recertify)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to safety
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Reliable attendance and transportation
Position Details
Pay: Typically $20.00-$27.00 per hour.
Schedule: Full-time opportunities with day, swing, or graveyard shifts depending on the employer.
Location: Opportunities are available throughout Thurston County.
