Plant Construction Project Manager $100,000- $160,000+

Tenure: 12-24 months (with potential for extension and future advancement)

Location: 30 miles northeast of Fargo,

Project Overview

  • Project Type: Development of a dairy renewable natural gas project using advanced technology to convert dairy waste into natural gas.
  • Current Status: Several projects completed in South Dakota (SD) and Minnesota (MN); another project entering construction soon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee the completion of engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to finalize minor engineering tasks and coordinate with the general contractor.
  • General Contractor Selection: Identify and select a suitable general contractor for the project.
  • Supervision: Manage a team of 2 to 3 direct reports and oversee a workforce of 10 to 20 personnel on-site.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the procurement and management of minor equipment and miscellaneous items.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in project management and construction, plus if  in process plant construction.
    • Seasoned professional with experience managing large projects.
    • Background in oil and gas or natural gas sectors is preferred.
    • Experience with pressure piping is a significant plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and contractors effectively.
    • Familiarity with engineering processes related to renewable energy projects.
