Lab Technician – Beverage Production

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Lab Technician for a well-established local beverage production company. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and have an interest in quality assurance, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: (Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
Shift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary (6 months)
Opportunity to become a permanent employee after as few as 30 working days, based on attendance and performance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
College-level science coursework preferred
Ability to read, write, and understand instructions and procedures in English
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Basic computer skills
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent and accurate results
Responsibilities

As a Lab Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining product quality and ensuring production standards are met. Duties include:

Work under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including proper use of hairnets, beard nets, and sanitation procedures
Perform quality testing on beverages and raw materials throughout the production process
Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing
Monitor, record, and report production processes and equipment trends
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Conduct quality system audits
Identify, isolate, and document nonconforming materials or products (Quality Holds)
Communicate effectively with Quality Assurance staff, Syrup Technicians, Production Supervisors, Maintenance, and other departments
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace
Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
