Brief Job Description: Monitoring, tending, and/or operating various automated and manually operated equipment to support the daily manufacturing of finished goods. Prepare raw materials for work and receives milk according to regulations and schedule. Pasteurize milk to meet state and federal guidelines, ensuring compliance with PA standards. Check, prepare, sanitize, and assemble kefir and cheese lines and equipment. Prepare tanks, test chemical concentration, mark charts, and monitor HTST process. Send pasteurized milk to other dairy tanks and cheese vats, add cultures, and weigh and add ingredients according to batch tickets. Monitor fermentation process, temperature, chemical concentration, and troubleshoot equipment. Supervise filling process, clean CIP and COP equipment, and assemble/disassemble filling line. Monitor and troubleshoot filling machines, maintain records, check culture freezer temperature, assist with problem-solving and process improvement, and ensure product quality. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Knowledge of Database Software (Access), Internet Software, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Perform other functions as assigned.
