Position Details
Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Bellingham, WA
Pay Range: $25.00-$35.00/HR DOE
Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
What You'll Do
- Fabricate and assemble custom metal components
- Perform FCAW and structural welding
- Interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Lay out materials and prepare assemblies
- Operate fabrication and steel-working equipment
- Inspect welds and completed projects for quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 Years of Welding Experience
FCAW Welding Experience Preferred
WABO Certification Preferred
Blueprint Reading Skills
Layout and Fabrication Experience
Experience with General Steel Working Tools
Ability to Work Independently
Strong Problem-Solving Skills
Commitment to Quality Craftsmanship
Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds
