Our client, a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, is seeking an Employee Experience Business Partner to support employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, and HR programs across its operations. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Mississauga and requires travel to the Brantford location.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead employee experience, engagement, recognition, and onboarding initiatives.
- Support and promote the organization's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, labour relations, and workplace investigations.
- Provide HR support to unionized manufacturing operations, including attendance management, discipline, terminations, and grievances.
- Coach leaders on engagement, leadership effectiveness, and change management initiatives.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and offer coordination.
- Manage HR reporting and analytics, including turnover, absenteeism, headcount, and workforce trends.
- Support payroll, benefits, pension administration, and maintain accurate HR records and employee data.
Job Experience
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, employee engagement, onboarding, and HR program delivery.
- Experience working in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation, training, and HR operations.
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment and labour legislation, including ESA, OHSA, OHRC, and OLRA.
- Strong organizational, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with HR reporting, analytics, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now.
Job Education
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- CHRP designation is preferred.
