Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate commercial garment pressing equipment, including steam presses and utility presses.
• Press a variety of garments, including shirts, pants, dresses, jackets, uniforms, and specialty items.
• Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, missing buttons, or other defects.
• Select the appropriate pressing techniques based on fabric type and garment construction.
• Adjust machine temperature, steam, and pressure settings to prevent garment damage.
• Remove wrinkles while maintaining the garment's original shape and appearance.
• Ensure garments meet company quality standards before packaging.
• Hang, fold, tag, and organize completed garments for customer pickup or delivery.
• Report damaged garments or equipment malfunctions to management.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of pressing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all company policies, garment care procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with additional laundry or dry-cleaning production duties as needed.

• Clothing is free of wrinkles, properly shaped, and free from pressing damage.
