Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Production Associate to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on shop experience who enjoys working with tools, materials, and production equipment. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a fabrication environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Measure materials and perform pattern cutting
• Complete sheet metal fabrication tasks including:
  • Shearing
  • Punching
  • Bending
  • Grinding
  • Chop saw operation
  • Soldering
  • Band saw operation
• Perform plastic membrane work including cutting, forming, and welding
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
• Operate hand tools such as grinders, drills, skill saws, and other small tools
• Monitor equipment, gauges, and indicators to ensure proper machine operation
• Perform quality checks and physical inspections of finished products
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Communicate production updates and issues verbally and in writing
• Use basic computer systems for production-related tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Previous shop labor, fabrication, or light industrial production experience preferred
• Ability to understand raw materials, production processes, and quality standards
• Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and working with hands for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license required
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or fabrication background
• Experience using hand tools and production equipment
• Knowledge of quality control processes
• Experience with forklift operation
