Location: Northwest Knoxville, TN

Shift: Monday–Saturday | 1:00 PM until finish (10–12-hour shifts)
Pay: $18.00/hour

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Production Cook to join a fast-paced food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assisting the Lead Cook, overseeing the cooking process, and ensuring recipes, quality standards, and food safety procedures are followed throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Lead Cook during daily production
• Oversee the complete cooking process from start to finish
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure product consistency
• Direct team members in properly loading ingredients into industrial kettles
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout production
• Maintain accurate cooking time and temperature logs
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good math skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds with assistance
• Stand, walk, and work for extended periods in a production environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
